CoreTough™ SHI Panel
  > Composition The core is made from white black or gray reground polycarbonate and is expanded to 0.822” in thickness. The outer facing is made from 0.118” thick white polycarbonate and the inner facing is made from 0.060” ABS. Total CoreTough™ SHI panel thickness is 1.000”. Variations on thickness are available upon request. > Performance Characteristics Because it has an outer facing and a core made from Polycarbonate, a material known for its strength and impact resistance properties, CoreTough™ SHI is highly resistant to impact. Neither point load nor distributed load has effect on this panel. That's why TSS calls it CoreTough™ “SHI” for “Super High Impact.” Furthermore, because of its unique sandwich / composite panel configuration, it is even more highly impact and deflection resistant. > Panel Sizes and Value Added Activities “Standard panel dimensions are 4' x 8', 4’ x 10’ and 10’ by up to 24’ in length. Additional lengths may be available upon request. TSS offers value added improvements such as cutting to size, routing, thermoforming, installing hardware and offering customer specified kits for additional charges.” > Typical Uses Typical uses for the CoreTough™ SHI panel are vehicle sidewalls, ceilings, bulkhead walls and divider walls and non forklift bearing floors. |
