Wheel Chair Lift
  This lift is designed to transport handicapped personnel in a safe manner. This AHT handicapped lift can be installed into a van or bus. It can also be installed as a stationary unit to lift personnel from one level to another level. Two ergonomic safety straps give the feeling of safety while being operated. This lift is only 13.5 inches wide, when in the traveling position and takes up very little space inside the van or bus. This lift is 4ft. wide when being used, allowing a comfortable ride. The size of the power pack box is only 3.5 inches. (The smallest in the industry) The platform is made from lattice steel with an anti-skid surface. When the lift is starting to rise above the ground, two sets of roll stops automatically pop up preventing the wheelchair from rolling forward or backward. When the lift is at bus floor level and unloaded, the platform can tilt upward into the traveling position, but only if the platform is empty. This safety switch protects the platform from being tilted upward in case something is on the platform. The platform only can be closed when the maximum upper level is reached and the platform is empty. A manual override, which is included in the power pack, makes it possible to move the platform, in all directions, in case of an electrical breakdown or other defects. A Four-Button-Remote, "raise, lower" and "open,close" controls the platform movement. Electrical locks avoid any malfunction. Lowering of the platform is only possible when the platform has been opened completely from the traveling position. The lift can be installed easily and fast. The complete hydraulic and electrical system is integrated into this lift. Eight screws are all that is needed to mount the lift to the van or bus. Hook up the battery cables and the lift is ready to go.
